Many people are now aware of the benefits of breathing practices for deeper relaxation and a calmer state of mind. What was held as a precious secret thousands of years ago has now become a regular part of the wellness world and our daily life.
Yet, because of easy access and seemingly simple techniques, we can sometimes lose interest and stop paying attention to our breath.
Breath is life. It is an essential part of our existence. And a readily available tool to affect and harmonize our energy and help us feel more relaxed. There is a reason why working with breath (or energy) is an indispensable part of a yogi’s path.
The way we breathe is directly connected with our state of mind and nervous system. The fuller our breath, the fuller we experience life, and the more present, relaxed, and grounded we are.
We are excited to invite you to our new workshop on November 16, ‘Healing through Breath, according to Tibetan Medicine and Yantra Yoga’ with Dr. Phuntsog Wangmo and experienced Yantra Yoga teacher Naomi Zeitz.
In this workshop, you will learn and practice specific breathing exercises that come from the system of Yantra Yoga (Tibetan Yoga of Movement), and then explore their benefits from the point of Traditional Tibetan Medicine.
You will learn and practice:
-Complete breathing
-9 breathings
-Rhythmic breathing
Even if you are already familiar with these practices, this is a chance to learn them more deeply, find out the benefits according to Tibetan Medicine, and practice together in a precise way.
You will leave this workshop feeling more present and relaxed, and with a deeper understanding of how to use breath to harmonize your energy!
