Today the second phase of the Chinese seasonal calendar, Rain Water (Yushui), begins at 11.25 pm as the sun crosses 330° Longitude (0° Pisces). The theme of this second stage of Spring is new possibilities and the excitement they evoke. ✨ Over the next two weeks nature will transform and reveal new qualities that you can also awaken in yourself.✨

In this seasonal phase, we notice that days are growing longer and the temperature raises.🌱

Two weeks ago we initiated the “beginning of the beginning,” a state of freedom and endless possibilities, and now, as we start the second phase of the year, it is time for the appearance of a new vision. ✨🧿 The way to face this vision is by practicing total surrender in the face of the unknown. ✨ Meditate and imagine your third eye; the emerging vision contains deep inner wisdom that will guide you through springtime and the year. ✨ Let your imagination float. The time for clarity and action is coming soon. For now, simply let the image appear and lovingly nurture it. ✨

The first phase of the lunar seasonal calendar, Start of Spring (Lichun), starts tomorrow, on Friday, February 3rd, as the sun crosses 315° Longitude (15° Aquarius). ✨🐇✨
Start of Spring is the first of the six stages of spring. What is the meaning of springtime and the season‘s first phase?

Over the next three months, spring will gradually develop. In three month from now nature will have shifted. ✨🔄✨
Springtime represents the rebirth of nature which was silent during the last three months. New life forces are about to appear.

Spring contains the theme of new possibilities and the excitement they bring. As we enter springtime, nature will support us to explore boundless possibilities. But wait. ✨🔜✨
The meaning of the first phase of Spring, Start of Spring represents the beginning of the beginning. 🆕👀

Now, your freedom is complete and so is your openness. Facing endless possibilities, you are capable of imagining and creating anything. ✨
The theme associated with Start of Spring is therefore perfect freedom. 🆓
Now is the time to allow yourself not to know. 🤫
Over the next fifteen days relax and decide NOT to decide anything, yet. Drop both belief and disbelief. Welcome your wise ignorance. Let your mind gather endless possibilities. ✨
As springtime continues a new vision will crystallize. Now is the time to enter the field of "not knowing." ✨

On Saturday, October 8th, the seventeenth phase of the Chinese seasonal calendar Cold Dew (Hanlu) starts at 7:12 AM CET as the sun crosses 195° Longitude (15° Libra).✨🍂✨

Cold Dew is the fifth stage of the fall season. In late autumn nature transitions from cool to cold with chilly, early morning dew. 🍃
In late summer and early autumn the ground is still warm like a hot plate that was recently turned off. 🔥 But gradually, as the temperature drops, the autumn chill penetrates the earth. ❄️ The next six months the ground will be too cold to walk on it barefoot. ✨ 🧦 ✨
During Cold Dew cold Qi becomes prevalent and, if you don’t take precautions, you’ll be at risk of catching a cold.
Cold Dew signals that the time has come to switch from cotton clothing to wool and other warming fabrics. 🧥🧶🧣🧤
Keep yourself warm with soup, warm water, or tea. Sipping warm liquids throughout the day helps ensure a cold-free season. Your internal organs will thank you for taking good care of them! 🍲🫖🍵
Keep your feet and neck warm and enjoy some autumn sun. 🍁🍂☀️🍂🍁

On Wednesday, February 3rd, the first phase of the Chinese seasonal calendar begins. This new phase, Start of Spring (Lichun), starts at 15:57 CET as the sun crosses 315° Longitude (15° Aquarius). 🌱

Spring is an expansive, life-affirming season full of youthful liveliness. 🍃

The themes include new possibilities and perfect freedom to create something new.

On Tuesday, January 19th, at 9:40 PM CET, the last of the 24 seasonal cycles of the Chinese seasonal calendar begins. This cycle, Major Cold (Dahan), coincides with the coldest part of the year and signals the end of winter. ✨❄️✨
In the last cycle, Minor Cold, we pushed through resistance. 💪🏻
Now, during Major Cold, a new theme emerges: endings. ❄️🧹❄️

The wisdom precipitated by Major Cold is the wisdom of letting go. 🚮

Some challenges are difficult but manageable while others are clearly "impossible". Hard challenges can be overcome through hard work. But what can you do when you are confronted by the impossible? ⛔️ Realize that you have reached a dead end. 🚧 Stop pushing. Let go. Walk away.

The time has come to release the unworkable. When you do, your spirit feels lighter and you will be happier. 😊 Let go of dead-end scenarios that are clogging up your life. 🪨
Trust that springtime lies around the corner and that new possibilities will soon be revealed. 🌱

Meditate on this: sometimes, the hardest decisions to make are the easiest ones to live with.

On Tuesday, January 5th, the twenty-third phase of the Chinese seasonal calendar begins. This phase, Minor Cold (XiaoHan), starts at 04:23 AM CET as the sun crosses 285° Longitude (15° Capricorn). ✨

In the last seasonal phase, Winter Solstice, we reached the “midnight” hour of the year—the point in the seasonal cycle when the Yin force culminates. ✨

Over the next two seasonal cycles we will experience the coldest part of the year, but even as the temperature continues to drop, energetically we are already heading towards springtime and summer. 🌱☀️ The vision of green trees and blooming fields of flowers may seem distant, but in reality, the Yang force is already finding a way through the ruling of winter. ❄️ 🌱

Minor Cold embodies the initial seasonal push against the strong headwinds of winter. 💨

If you experience any setbacks over the next two weeks, transform your disappointment into Yang Qi and use that energy to drive harder towards your goal. 💪🏻

The Minor Cold seasonal phase lasts until Major Cold, the sixth and final cycle of winter, begins. Until then, remain strong and push with determination against any resistance you encounter. 💨

Winter Solstice, the phase of deepest Yin starts on Monday at 11:02 AM CET as the sun crosses 270° Longitude (0° Capricorn). ✨

Experience the peace of emptiness. 🙏🏻

Winter Solstice continues for fifteen days until Minor Cold, the fifth phase of winter begins. Until then meditate on darkness, the mother of light! ✨
