🧬 New Paper Alert 🧬
Our latest publication in Materials Today Bio presents innovative 3D in vitro models for studying endometriosis. 🔬
This is also the first paper from the EndoFert consortium, developed in close collaboration with colleagues from Münster.
Endometriosis is a complex and still poorly understood disease – in part because traditional 2D cell cultures fail to accurately reflect the in vivo environment.
👉 In this work, we demonstrate how advanced 3D models can be used to:
• more realistically mimic disease-relevant processes
• unravel cellular networks and signaling pathways
• create innovative platforms for drug discovery
These models represent an important step toward a deeper understanding of endometriosis – and ultimately toward more targeted therapeutic strategies.
