FIOR & GENTZ beim 69. FOT-Kongress in Pforzheim

Am 26. und 27. September waren Christophe und Florian beim 69. FOT-Kongress in Pforzheim – mit einem Stand direkt im Eingangsbereich des Kongresssaals und damit perfekt sichtbar für alle Besucher.

🔧 Über beide Tage hinweg kamen zahlreiche Orthopädietechniker*innen vorbei, um sich mit uns auszutauschen. Besonders großes Interesse galt unseren mikroprozessorgesteuerten und dynamischen Systemgelenken:

• NEURO HiSWING R+

📘 Viele Kataloge, Handbücher und Fachinfos fanden neue Besitzer – und wir viele spannende Gespräche.

On 26 and 27 September, Christophe and Florian attended the 69th FOT Congress in Pforzheim, presenting our stand right at the entrance of the congress hall – perfectly positioned for all visitors to see.

🔧 Across both days, numerous orthotic technicians stopped by to talk with us. There was particular interest in our microprocessor-controlled and dynamic system joints:

• NEURO HiSWING R+

📘 Many catalogues, manuals and technical resources found new owners – and we enjoyed plenty of inspiring conversations.

Welt-Schlaganfall-Tag 🧠 – FAST handeln kann Leben retten!

Am 29. Oktober ist Welt-Schlaganfall-Tag – ein Tag, der daran erinnert, wie wichtig Aufklärung, Prävention und schnelle Reaktion sind.
Denn: Bei einem Schlaganfall zählt jede Minute. ⏱️

Der FAST-Test hilft, Warnzeichen frühzeitig zu erkennen:
➡️ Face: Hängt ein Mundwinkel?
➡️ Arms: Können beide Arme gleichmäßig gehoben werden?
➡️ Speech: Ist die Sprache verwaschen oder unverständlich?
➡️ Time: Sofort den Notruf (112) wählen!

Je schneller gehandelt wird, desto besser sind die Chancen auf eine gute Genesung – und oft auch auf den Erhalt wichtiger Funktionen.

Auch in der Neuro-Orthetik spielt die Schlaganfall-Rehabilitation eine zentrale Rolle: Individuell gefertigte Orthesen unterstützen Betroffene dabei, wieder sicher zu gehen und mobil zu bleiben. 💙

29 October marks World Stroke Day – a reminder of how vital awareness, prevention and rapid action are.
Because in the case of a stroke, every minute counts. ⏱️

The FAST test helps to recognise warning signs quickly:
➡️ Face: Does one side of the face droop?
➡️ Arms: Can both arms be raised equally?
➡️ Speech: Is speech slurred or strange?
➡️ Time: Call the emergency number immediately!

The sooner help arrives, the better the chances of recovery – and often of regaining important physical abilities.

In neuro-orthotics, stroke rehabilitation plays a key role: Custom-made orthoses support patients in walking safely and maintaining mobility. 💙

Throwback zum Ironman Hawaii 2024 🌺🏊🚴🏃
Vor genau einem Jahr ging (Instagram) beim legendären an den Start – mit unserem Logo auf dem Trikot! 💪

3,86 km Schwimmen, 180,2 km Radfahren und 42,195 km Laufen: Lars erreichte in seiner Altersklasse einen beeindruckenden 3. Platz mit einer Zeit von 8:36:17 Stunden.

Eine unglaubliche Leistung, die uns bis heute begeistert. Danke, Lars, dass wir Teil deiner Reise sein durften! 🙌

Exactly one year ago, (Instagram) competed in the legendary Ironman Hawaii – proudly wearing our logo on his tri suit! 💪

3.86 km swimming, 180.2 km cycling and 42.195 km running: Lars achieved an impressive 3rd place in his age group with a time of 8:36:17 hours.

An incredible performance that still inspires us today. Thank you, Lars, for letting us be part of your journey! 🙌
