The American Red Cross is seeking a full-time SAF Division Business Operations / Administrative Support position. It can be located at any U.S. military base in Germany, Italy, Spain, or the U.K. Preferred candidates will be located in Wiesbaden, Germany and already have SOFA status. Housing is not provided, and COLA is not authorized. VISA requirements will depend on the country in which the position is hired. Relocation expenses are not covered.

Due to a cancelled blood drive, Donors and Volunteers are needed to help save US & other NATO military lives on and off the battlefield! SIGN UP now to give blood with the DoD's Armed Services Blood Program (ASBP). If you donated MAR 10-11 in the Heaton, you are NOT eligible to give Whole Blood this time…but you CAN sign up at the same QR to give Platelets/Plasma at our Landstuhl Donor Center! Open to nearly everyone else over 18 with base access (including EU/UK), thanks to relaxed eligibility rules.

We have a position open for our Non-Mobile SAF-IS Regional Program Specialist position which will help support our Service to Armed Forces and International Services Division mission. This position is a full-time position. You must have SOFA status and no COLA/relocation allowances are provided.

Meet Jackie’O!

March is Red Cross Month, and we’re spotlighting one of our most beloved four-legged volunteers—Jackie’O, a certified Red Cross Morale Dog! ❤️🐶

Jackie’O, a 7-year-old Bouvier des Flandres, has been bringing comfort, smiles, and a little bit of magic to our soldiers, families, and staff throughout the Kaiserslautern Military Community (KMC) and specifically at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center. From visiting patients at LRMC to stopping by our partner organizations, fire department, and Ramstein Passenger Terminal, Jackie’O helps relieve stress and lift spirits wherever she goes. After hugging Jackie’O through a tough moment, one Airman said: “I needed that.” Moments like these show the true power of our Pet Visitstion Program (PVP).

The best compliment she has ever gotten? “Please come back.” 🥰
