Tetralogy of Fallot in a 21-Month-Old Boy
A tragic case of a toddler presenting with cyanosis, exertional dyspnoea, and a harsh systolic murmur.

🔬 Diagnosis: Tetralogy of Fallot with severe pulmonary stenosis and additional ASD.

💉 A Willis-Potts shunt was performed, but sadly, the child passed away 12 hours post-op due to acute dyspnoea and lung consolidation.

✨ Pathology highlights:
• RV hypertrophy
• Bicuspid, stenotic pulmonary valve
• Large VSD with overriding aorta
• Multiple ASDs
• Thin LV wall vs hypertrophied RV

A powerful reminder of the complexity of congenital heart disease and the limits of surgical intervention.
