War is a symptom of systemic dis-ease.
War is not a solution to the deeper systemic or ideological issues that give rise to war.
The multitude of urgent challenges that humankind faces require greater coordination, creativity and togetherness than ever before.
Our future depends on our ability to scrutinise the systems and leaders that perpetuate harm to people and planet, and to hold them accountable for their actions.
Our future depends on our ability to elevate our thinking, our values, and demand our leaders and our systems hold all life as sacred, and see the human in one another, to seek connection rather than coflict.
We will flourish when our governance, our systems and economies are grounded in life affirming values that reduce harm, seek resolution, de-escalation, and disarmament.
Until our leaders stop funding weapons and wars, they have failed us.
Until our economies cease to profit from war, our systems have failed us.
Until our policies and corporations seek to dismantle oppression, colonialism, dehumanization, greed, destruction of our ecosystem, they are failing us us.
Until geo-politics becomes about how to share resources, secure safety, sustain peace and support life, our systems and our leaders are failing us.
War is end game, lose-lose, worst possible scenario. It is not a solution.
Every war leads away from peace not toward it.
Peace is a systemic issue.
War is a systemic issue.
