Trump again calls for Mexico to pay for wall
Trump tweeted the following Sunday morning. “With Mexico being one of the highest crime nations in the world, we must have THE WALL, Mexico will pay for it through reimbursement/other.”
Trump Renews Call that U.S. may Pull out of NAFTA
President Trump tweeted this morning that he may pull U.S. out of the NAFTA Trade Agreement with Mexico and Canada.
The 23 year old agreement will be entering a second renegotiation period next week.
Ending the NAFTA agreement was one of Trump& #39;s biggest election promises.
Trump Lamabasted on Sheriff Joe Pardon
There has been a lot of criticism on Capitol Hill towards President Trump on his pardon of Sheriff Joe Arpaio.Senator Blumenthal tweeted the following. "Under cover of hurricane and Friday night darkness, Trump pardons Arpaio and flouts rule of law - already producing backlash." Senator Chuck Shumer also tweeted. "As millions of people in TX and LA are prepping for the hurricane, the President is using the cover of the storm to 1/ Pardon a man who violated a court& #39;s order to stop discriminating against Latinos and 2/".
Trump Pardons Sheriff Joe
Trump White House announced on Friday night that Sheriff Joe Arpaio has been given a pardon. Sheriff Joe had been found guilty early this year of disobeying a Judges Order.
RNC votes To Condemn White Supremacists
The Republican National Committee voted unanimously in Nashville Tennessse to condemn White Supremacists. The resolution contained the following, " N***s, the K*K, white supremacists and others are repulsive, evil and have no fruitful place in the United States."
Science Envoy writes Scathing Resignation Letter toTrump
Professor Daniel M. Kammen resigned from his position at the State Deprtment, Among other things he wrote in the letter posted on Twitter was the following, "My decision to resign is in response to your attacks on core values of the United States. Your failure to condemn white supremacists and neo-N***s has domestic and international ramifications.".
Trump Hints at Government shutdown to get Mexican Wall Built.
President Trump is putting out the notion that he may shut down the governernment if he does not get the funding for the wall he wants. Trump is trying to get his biggest campaign promise fulfilled to his hardcore supporters that want a wall built on the Mexican border.
Trump Administration in Transition after Firings and Resignations
There have been big changes at the the Trump White House over the past week since the debacle over the handling of the Charlottesville protests.
Trump fired Steven Bannon who had helped get Trump elected and was a favorite of the conservative movement.
Trump also dissolved the business advisory councils that were set up with prominent Business CEOS after several of them resigned in the aftermath of his remarks after the Charlottesville protests.
