Am 31.10. wurde unser Rechtsherzkatheter bei der Fachtagung der Kardio Akademie in Wien genutzt. Die Veranstaltung richtete sich an ein Fachpublikum und behandelte spezifische Herausforderungen der RHK-Untersuchung.
Thematische Schwerpunkte waren:
✅ Komplikationsmanagement und praxisnahe 'Tipps & Tricks'
✅ Beurteilung komplexer Hämodynamik
✅ Differenzialdiagnostik der pulmonalen Hypertonie (icPH vs. cpcPH)
✅ Diagnostik der HFpEF (Herzinsuffizienz bei erhaltener Ejektionsfraktion)

Today I received a post that I consider to be highly relevant – the impact of stroke.
Stroke is a time critical event. It can happen to anyone and, unless treated correctly and promptly can lead to severe disabilities or even death !

Post-stroke, if one survives, the whole family is faced with a long period of uncertain recovery and financial stress. Indeed, it can destroy families and not only the present but future generations as scarce resources are diverted.

The great tragedy of stroke is that in many cases its effects may be lessened if timely correct treatment is provided. Awareness of stroke symptoms is however very limited - not only amongst the general populace but also the medical community.

CATHI provides high-end simulation that improves physicians‘ response to stroke as time and proper measures are crucial.

CATHI embraces all initiatives that raise the awareness of this disease that affect 1 of 4 over 60 years.
