Artificial Intelligence (AI) in surgery boasts remarkable potential, but it also brings profound ethical considerations. 🤖💼

In the chapter “Promises and Perils of Artificial Intelligence in Surgery,” experts examine the balance between innovation and responsibility. Key questions arise: How can we guarantee safety and fairness in AI-assisted procedures? 🏥

They emphasize the importance of transparency and accountability in surgical AI decision-making. This discourse not only illuminates the benefits but also the moral dilemmas we face as technology evolves.

Understanding these pathways is vital for achieving successful healthcare outcomes
