I’ve been sitting on this date for a looong time because well, mum-life means that things often get pushed back some. But, now’s the time!

THE MAMA CIRCLE PODCAST is launching in 3 weeks from today 😀 which feels exciting and daunting at the same time!

I’m not going to promise to deliver a new episode each week but it will be as close to that as I can.

Overwhelm Busting Bingo has been created to counter that. And it's super easy. Unlike traditional Bingo, you just choose one thing from the grid to do when you feel like poo.

There are 25 to choose from - a mixture of mindset, action and body work - and they're all simple, quick and some can be done with your kids if you have them.

It's also free, of course. If you've got a printer, print it, stick it to your fridge and there you go! Or on a mirror. Or your phone. Wherever works!

Things I wish new mums knew:

1. Your motherhood experience is important AND impacts the future wellness of your child
2. Feelings of rage and anger are normal and carry important messages
3. Feelings of overwhelm can kick in after the newborn stage and be exhausting
4. Your menstrual cycle can massively affect how you show up as a parent

There's so much more I could add to this list to be honest! But for now, this is a good place to start. These are just some of the conversations I'll be having on The Mama Circle Podcast when it launches next month 🤩

The Mama Circle Podcast is launching in January 2025! 🎙️🎉

It's no secret that I've been in a bit of a funk after becoming a mama when it comes to my work. And as per my last post, I decided to do something BIG and Fun and so, I'm excited to share that The Mama Circle Podcast will be launching in the new year.

I truly LOVE the in-person Circles I've held here in Ulm. They're a place for raw, unfiltered truth about adjusting to life as a mum (and woman) while still navigating work, life, love, intimacy and everything else.

So it only feels natural to widen the convo. YAY! I'll cover topics like relationships, rage, and self-care, plus I'll be chatting to other mums to share their experience.

And another one bites the dust 💨

I haven’t been posting much lately, for a few reasons, namely:
- wanting to share more than I can fit in a caption
- navigating the head spin that is motherhood
- my menstruality practice not being what it was

Meanwhile I’ve been busy BTS making a transition to focus on where I feel most embodied, and that’s motherhood. Does it mean I won’t speak about menstrual cycles anymore?

Course not. I’m a cyclical being after all. But it won’t be the main focus for now at least. What will be, is The Mama Circle Podcast 🎙️ which I’m SO FLIPPING EXCITED ABOUT!

On paper, this is insanity. My business income stems from menstrual cycle work. Mentoring, coaching, so on.

My podcast will make...well. Nothing. And not coaching or mentoring means....well.

The single most hardest thing for me personally in the last 14 months as a mum, has been unravelling the massive internal shift in who I am as a person.

It’s why I created The Mama Circles to start with. To have a safe space in which to share what’s on the heart and in the mind with people who won’t judge, and who get it.

Autumn: a season I love and hate at the same time 😵‍💫🍂

Love:
☕️ cafes and chai lattes and hot chocolates
🕯️ candles
🥘 casseroles and stews
📺 Grand Designs
🍁 pretty leaves
🧖🏽‍♀️ sauna time

Hates:
☔️ constant rain
🥾 muddy boots
🌫️ endless fog (though it’s not as bad as it used to be here)
🥵 always overheating because I never have the right clothes
🤧 sick season

Every year I tell myself to actively fall in love with the weather so as not to wish half the year away and I am open to ideas! I still have to finish knitting the scarf I started last year (🙈) and update our family photo album so I’ve already got a couple of cost crafty things. I’d love some more gems to consider.

Extra mental load, no free time, being constantly touched, sleep deprivation, turbulent hormones, loss of identity, money worries, feeling isolated, sore breasts, lack of a village, bureaucracy, body image, cost of childcare, household chores...

The list goes on. And sure, there are books you can read, lingerie you can buy, courses you can take but maybe it's also important just to know:

You're not alone and we get it.
