We are a new partner of Rheinland-Pfalz Gold
To strengthen Rhineland-Palatinate as a business region, we are now working together with the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Transport, Agriculture and Viticulture of Rhineland-Palatinate (MWVLW) and other well-known regional companies. We are excited to be new partner of the -Pfalz Gold.

Quality, the ability to change, innovation, professionals and (inter)nationality are the main pillars of the pro-gramme which are key to be part of it.

Why do we focus on the regional campaign? Managing Director Hevert reveals: ‘We have been committed to the region since our family business was founded over 65 years ago. That's why we not only support social projects in the Nahe valley and the surrounding area. We also invest in Rhineland-Palatinate as a business region, for example by currently expanding our packaging line for tablets.’

What expectations do we have of the new partnership? Brother and Co-Managing Director Hevert explains: ‘We are very excited about the collaboration. After all, a close exchange between regional companies and economic policy is of immense importance, especially for medium-sized companies in these challenging times, which are characterised by a shortage of professionals and recession.’

Education is an important requirement for building a socially, economically, and ecologically sustainable future. But the financial means for this are not always available. Unfortunately that is also the case in Gando, a small village in Burkina Faso, West Africa. That is why the architect Diébédo Francis Kéré, who comes from Gando himself, set up the organization Kéré Foundation e.V. in 1998, which helps enable, for example, the construction of schools, sanitary facilities, and other infrastructure in Gando. For many years, the Hevert-Foundation has been an important supporter and is currently providing a large donation to assist with the completion of a secondary school, the production of school furniture, and is helping to plant many shade-providing mango trees in Gando.

Especially in turbulent times such as during the current coronavirus pandemic, many people are sleeping badly. February 2021 sees the addition of Vitamin D3 Hevert 1000 IU Spray to Hevert-Arzneimittel’s Vitamin D3 range. The spray is easy to use and absorbed quickly and directly via the oral mucosa. It supplements the tablet preparations with 1000, 2000 and 4000 IU as well as the combination drug in capsule form, Vitamin D3 K2 Hevert plus Calcium and Magnesium.

On November 6, the Dr. Wolfgang Hevert Prize was awarded for the seventh time under the motto "New paths in naturopathy". The psychologist Nina Bauer, doctoral candidate at the Clinic for Integrative Medicine and Naturopathy of the University of Bamberg, was awarded the prize, which is endowed with 10,000 euros. With her planned study project, she wants to prove that patients with Crohn's disease can be empowered to promote their recovery through a stress and lifestyle therapy and to achieve a high quality of life despite their illness. Mathias Hevert, managing director of Hevert-Arzneimittel and deputy chair of the board of the Hevert-Foundation, emphasized the importance of the planned study project for naturopathy during the award ceremony. Due to COVID-19 the ceremony took place as a video conference.

The first Hevert-Arzneimittel vitamin preparations with redesigned packaging went on the market in mid-2020. All vitamin preparations are gradually being converted. Geometry, a Hamburg-based creative agency, developed the drafts for the redesign. Various aims were pursued here: Modernizing the design, drawing a visible distinction between vitamins and the Hevert homeopathy and phyto ranges, establishing a clear difference between the vitamins themselves and competing products, and increasing suitability for behind-the-counter display. The new packaging design gives pharmacy staff, therapists, and end customers a helping hand when recommending and choosing Hevert preparations.
