Prostate cancer is a complex disease, not only because of the tumour itself, but also due to microscopic cancer cells that may be present throughout the body even after local treatment. Traditional approaches like surgery, radiation, or chemotherapy often focus only on the tumour in the prostate and can weaken the immune system in the process.
At VITUS Privatklinik, we combine immunotherapy with focal treatments such as irreversible electroporation (IRE/NanoKnife™) to make tumour cells more visible to the immune system and enhance the immune response against residual microscopic disease.

Step 1: Planning
It all begins with high-resolution diagnostics—multiparametric MRI and/or 3D saturation biopsy ensures we accurately identify the tumor zones. Without this, NanoKnife's precision wouldn't be possible.
