Copying a single front tooth is always a challenge. In this case, it was particularly difficult, with a significant amount of chroma in the cervical area, a very low brightness value central , and bright mamelons with a transparent enamel overlay. Additionally, there were some white spots and many other small details to consider. The old crown was a 15-year-old all-ceramic crown that has now been replaced. The framework is made of zirconium dioxide (Zolid Bion) from AmannGirrbach. I applied internal structures with MiYO onto the framework and dusted it with fluorescent layering material (InSynZR). Subsequently, there was a ceramic firing using the same ceramic (as layering ceramic) with a thickness of 0.4 mm, along with two glaze firings using MiYO Color masses. We are very satisfied with the result, and the patient couldn't believe what is possible nowadays with the modern zirconiumdioxid ( Zolid Bion is amazing!) and a good workflow ( what would I do without MiYO 🙂 and some skills .
