So, as we enter into another week of this crazy, new normal, we have another update for our clinic families within the KMC.
We feel like it is in your best interest, and for the health and safety of our staff, to close our physical clinic for the next 1-2 weeks.
As we do that, here is what we are going to do: We are going to continue to super-serve you guys, because we love you & we know how important these services are to you & your kiddos! YOU are why we do what we do, every single day!
So, your therapist will be reaching out to you, to set up some times in the next couple of weeks that we can continue to connect with you virtually, for those who are interested,
through Telehealth- to encourage you, and to continue to help your child progress towards his/her current speech and language goals!
We are still working to see if TriCare will reimburse us for these sessions, or not...We’ll see. But, in the meantime, we don’t want anyone to have to be without these vital services. And, we don’t want to impose private-pay fees that may prohibit anyone from accessing the services that we know your kiddos need! If you are privately insured, and your insurance covers telehealth, we will work with you individually to ensure reimbursement. But again, our 2 main priorities for the next 2 weeks are #1- to ensure continuity of care and #2- to ensure no private-pay costs for our current clinic families. We will also be posting some resources here on our page, to give you ideas of how to stimulate speech and language throughout your daily environment! Stay Home. Stay Healthy. And we look forward to serving you again at the clinic, once we get past all of this craziness!
