Oh with so much going on in the world, there is so much fear & collective unease. It feels almost off to be hopeful, but hope isn’t denial of the sh*tty things playing out around us. It’s not pretending things are fine.
Hope is a decision made in the middle of uncertainty. In the middle of grief. In the middle of fear.
We don’t choose hope because the world is gentle, we choose it because the world can be brutal! Hope is work. It is action of spirit and will. It is an act of strength. It is refusal to collapse into numbness or cruelty. Hope is a decision to stay human when it would be easier not to.
Human history is full of moments like this. And again and again, people chose to keep going. In all of the commentary of “we’re cooked” to act in hope is to care, to protect life, to act with integrity.
Humanity has done this before. Many times.
This is one of those moments.
What does choosing hope look like in your next step?
