How can we care for ourselves while we’re caring for so much else? How do we stay grounded when life pulls us in all kinds of directions?

Life can be challenging. We experience loss, breakups, illness, grief. Work demands so much of our time and energy, but we also want to meet the expectations of family and friends. How can we navigate these challenges, be they large or small, in a healthy way — without breaking under the pressure?

, psychologist and journalist, will take you on a personal exploration of these questions in her coaching sessions — not just theoretically, but through a real-life story that invites reflection and insight.

Afterwards, we’ll take what we’ve explored intellectually in the yoga practice, we will embody the insight we gained and integrate it with our somatic intelligence.

Three Saturday evenings where coaching and yoga come together. Three evenings to show you how mental clarity and physical practice can work together and support each other — all while fostering calm, strength and inner balance.

Hack The Asana Ep. 4

Today we check-out Garudasana, Eagle Pose.

Garudasana is great to build balance, focus, and inner strength. It opens your shoulders, hips, and upper back while toning your legs and improving circulation. As you wrap and hold, your mind learns stillness, your body finds alignment, and your breath becomes your anchor.

What you should always keep in mind when practicing Garudasana:

✅ Activate the core to stabilise the posture
✅ Continuously press hands, elbows, thighs, knees and ankles together
✅ Keep lifting upper body up and back and draw hips in one horizontal line
✅ Draw your shoulders away from your ears
✅ Don’t forget to breath!

Your reaction to our last video has been so beautiful and heartwarming ❤️ We’re heartened and grateful to see so many of you stand on the side of humanity and show empathy and support in such difficult times.

As those in power continue in their shameful inaction, we believe that each and every one of us, in our own small way, can contribute to bringing positive change into the world by showing up for one another and not turning a blind eye to injustice.

Let’s not forget that this is not about us, it’s about the most vulnerable of people who have been subjected to two years of dehumanisation, relentless genocidal violence and are currently being displaced, bombed, starved and denied the most basic necessities.

For a while now we’ve been asking ourselves what we can do in our own small way concerning the situation in Gaza.

It’s been almost two years of daily massacres, of helplessness, anger and heartbreak as we’ve witnessed the world stand by and do nothing to stop the genocide in Gaza.

We know there is many like us, who tried their best to function despite the horrors and the trauma, who pulled themselves together and acted normal in the face of a situation that isn’t normal at all.

We’ve had conversations with many of you along the way and we came to the realisation that this condition of hyper-normalisation of extreme violence has been weighing on all of us and we’re all paying the price, in a way or another.

But as we’re being bombarded with a constant flow of horrible images and tragic news, the people in Gaza are being bombarded with actual bombs and have been, every day, for the past two years.

Their humanity denied, their history erased, their future obliterated.

For us it’s a matter of humanity and coherence. If you’ve practiced at our studio before, you know that we are a community that celebrates diversity and inclusion, a place to heal and process and grow better. We practice honesty and we always act from a place of love.

In the current situation, silence is not an option anymore. Honesty for us means not staying neutral when an entire group of people is being denied their very humanity. Love means finding the courage to speak out and take a stance for those whose voice has been buried under two years of relentless annihilation.

Even if it’s “just” symbolic, we must make our voice heard.

As you may know a collective of incredibly brave people have embarked on a journey to try and break the illegal siege on Gaza and establish a safe corridor to deliver the much needed humanitarian aid to the people there. Yesterday the activists of the Global Sumud Flotilla have been kidnapped by the Israeli forces and are currently being held captive.

We stand in full solidarity with the Global Sumud Flotilla and with the people of Gaza.

You may have heard it through the grapevine…Isabelle will leave Stuttgart at the beginning of September. She’s embarking on a new adventure and life chapter in Berlin!

Having Isabelle teach at our Dojo for the past 8 years has been a pleasure and we’re going to miss her strong classes and gentle energy.

Isa is teaching a double tonight and her last class will be the 12pm Hot Vinyasa on Saturday August 30th.

We wish Isa the best of luck! May she find a supportive community, great yoga, friends, art and all she wishes for!
