Today, we would like to focus not only on a material but a whole innovative treatment method for use in craniomaxillofacial osteosynthesis. 🙌 SonicWeld Rx® combines highly advanced ultrasonic technology with resorbable implants to provide stable fixation and eliminate the need for a second operation.

The materials used in this procedure are two resorbable polymers for osteosynthesis, Resorb x (PDLLA) and Resorb xG (PLLA-PGA), which have been well-established in craniomaxillofacial surgery. Both resorbables maintain sufficient stability throughout the entire fracture-healing process, allowing complete fracture healing and bone regeneration. 🦴
