The Doulas of Bavaria couldn't be happier to announce that we are growing! We are welcoming an incredible woman from the Hohenfels area community to our team -- Melina Boscow! ✨
We instantly connected with her and know she will bring such a light to our communities and make such a difference serving as a Birth & Postpartum Doula.
Melina is a bilingual doula-in-training, born and raised in Germany.
As a mother of two, she truly understands that there are many choices and decisions for expecting families to navigate during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
Melina has had two empowered births with an amazing support system that inspired her to begin her journey as a doula. She strongly believes in the power of knowledge and that every mother’s voice should be heard and understood.
Melina’s goal is to help women to connect to their own inner wisdom and strength, as well as providing evidence-based information. She believes that every woman should feel supported and safe during their birth process.
Melina holds a Bachelor’s in Education Science and a Master’s in Applied Research in Social Work. As a social worker, she has worked in the fields of mental health, substance abuse, and voluntary services. This experience, particularly in the areas of emotional support, counseling, and advocacy, serves as a foundation for her role as a doula. She enjoys combining her passion for supporting people with her passion for all things pregnancy and birth-related.
Melina is working on her doula training and certifications with Childbirth International (CBI) and is offering birth as well as postpartum support for the Hohenfels community.
