Africa may well have a prevention and treatment for Corona !
While everyone is looking at developed countries to find a cure or at leat effective treatment for COVID 19, the solution may well be lying on your doorsteps in Ghana or better, your gardens and the savannah at large.

Azardirachta indica L. or NEEM has shown antiviral properties against various viruses in numerous studies, besides the commonly known strong antibacterial and anti-parasitical effects.

Maybe it would be worthwile for the scarce laboratories in Ghanato do some COVID19 specific research on that, instead of giving away their know-how to big pharma to then patent and exploit it?

Knowing how vital information on research tends to gather dust in some drawers in Ghana, I would not be surprised if Noguchi Institute et al. already conducted basic studies on the effect of Neem against HPV and Herpes.
