🏆 Gold medal and nominations for iGEM (International Genetically Engineered Machine) ! 🔬

We would like to congratulate the Bactolyze team from iGEM Münster on their great success at this year's Grand Jamboree in Paris! The team was awarded a gold medal 🏅 and received nominations in the important categories “Best Human Practices” and “Best Education.”

The “Bactolyze” project made a truly valuable contribution to research into innovative alternatives to antibiotics. The researchers focused on endolysins and antimicrobial peptides to specifically combat bacterial biofilms and specific bacteria such as enteroaggregative Escherichia coli (EAEC).

💚 Weltkindertag: Kinderrechte sind die Bausteine unserer Zukunft 🌍

Heute steht der Weltkindertag ganz im Zeichen des UNICEF Deutschland-Weltkindertagsfests.

Es ist ein essenzieller Tag, der uns alle daran erinnert, dass die Rechte der jungen Generation aktiv gestärkt werden müssen, um ihnen eine gesunde, sichere und chancenreiche Zukunft zu ermöglichen.

Wir bei nerbe plus erkennen die fundamentale Bedeutung dieser Mission. At nerbe plus, we place great emphasis on sustainability in laboratory work.

Our petri dishes are produced to be CO2-neutral, resource-saving, and energy-efficient thanks to state-of-the-art machine technology. They are also free of human DNA, free of RNase DNase, and free of PCR inhibitors.

In addition to these ecological benefits, the petri dishes also offer practical functional features. They were designed with a wide, beveled rim to optimize the automation of filling processes and improve glide and processing in machines. The raised rim also ensures improved stackability, which simplifies storage. Each dish features a generous labeling field for easy and clear identification.
