Der DKOU – Deutscher Kongress für Orthopädie und Unfallchirurgie ist das größte jährliche Event dieser Fachbereiche in Deutschland und ein zentraler Treffpunkt für Fachpublikum, Hersteller und Anwender.

Hysteroscopy Course – “Diagnosi e Terapia della Patologia Endocavitaria in Età Fertile e Menopausa”

The recent Hysteroscopy Course took place in Vicenza, between the Woman Clinic and Casa di Cura Villa Berica, under the scientific direction of Dr. Tito Silvio Patrelli, with the valuable support of our Product Manager Dr. Andrea De Michieli and our distributor Mediserv Technologies Italia.

The event was divided into three sessions:

🔹 Scientific Presentations
Topics included Diagnostic and Operative Hysteroscopy, Instruments, Pathologies, and Techniques, providing participants with an in-depth theoretical foundation.

🔹 Hands-On Session
Participants practiced on four simulation workstations – two dedicated to cold technique using mechanical instruments and two to GUBBINI Mini Resectoscopes with the PlasmaWave PWT-400 Electrosurgical Unit (bipolar current) – guided by Dr. Marco Libera, Dr. Giampietro Gubbini, Dr. Francesca Panerari, and Dr. Tito Silvio Patrelli.

🔹 Live Surgery Session
At Casa di Cura Villa Berica, leading specialists – Dr. Giampietro Gubbini, Prof. Ivan Mazzon, Dr. Maria Chiara De Angelis, and Dr. Mario Franchini – performed operative hysteroscopy procedures, sharing their expertise and insights.

Secondo Corso Residenziale di Isteroscopia Operativa Ambulatoriale
took place at Mirandola Hospital (MO) on October 17–18, under the scientific direction of Dr. Alessandro Ferrari and with the precious support of our distributor BS Medical.
>> 25 physicians attended the event.

The program was divided into two sessions:
(1) The first focused on the history and evolution of hysteroscopy, its instruments, and techniques.
(2) The second included a presentation by our Product Manager Dr. Andrea De Michieli on the TONTARRA Hysteroscopy range, with special focus on:

held at the Azienda Sanitaria Universitaria Friuli Centrale – Udine (Italy),
in collaboration with SPIGC – Società Polispecialistica Italiana dei Giovani Chirurghi.
