✨ CEDaR New Year’s Event! ✨
Last week we had the pleasure of welcoming colleagues from across the clinic to our annual gathering. It was a wonderful opportunity to share updates on CEDaR’s ongoing projects and to start the new year in great company.
We presented four key talks that highlighted some of our current research:
· COMPASS: Exploring the interaction between eating disorders and PTSD/complex PTSD - shedding light on how these conditions influence one another and the implications for treatment.
· A mixed-methods study on treatment effects: combining quantitative and qualitative data to better understand clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
· BHB study: Investigating the potential of ketone supplementation for individuals with anorexia nervosa (AN) - an innovative line of research targeting metabolic mechanisms.
· The HALO Pilot Study: preliminary insights from our pilot for our RCT examining high-, medium-, and low-intensity psychotherapy for binge eating disorder (BED).
A warm thank you to everyone who attended, asked questions, and contributed to such an engaging atmosphere. We look forward to sharing more as these studies progress throughout 2026.
