Workshop: Threads of Desire - A Trans-Feminine Space for Erotic Imagination

Cosmos Community is proud  to present our first official event under our newly formed non-profit organization.

This year in honor of TDoR - Trans Day of Remembrance -  we are not only honoring those lost, but we are celebrating and uplifting our Trans community by hosting Threads of Desire.

Threads of Desire is a separatist *BIPoC Trans-Feminine workshop exploring erotic imagination through play, reflection, and ritual. Together we’ll build an altar of desire, practice consent, and flirt with care - celebrating both softness and the sharp edges that protect it.

Date: Saturday, November 14th, 2025
Time: 18-20

This two-hour gathering invites trans-feminine people to explore sexuality, sensuality, and connection through play, reflection, and shared ritual. Together we will build an altar of desire and imagination, weave our offerings with rope and candlelight, and move through gentle exercises in noticing, consent, and collective flirtation.

About the facilitator:
Farzana (she/her) is a trans writer and researcher whose work moves through q***r, diasporic, and erotic ecologies. She practices kink and relational play as living research into power, tenderness, and the body’s many ways of knowing -and of sitting with the unknowable. She belongs to the holy wh**es lineage. The Q***r & Trans Holiday Market is a festive gathering of community, creativity, and care - featuring market stalls filled with art, crafts, zines, vintage treasures, handmade goods, NADA acupuncture, and more.

After last year’s cozy market at COSMOS, we’re thrilled to expand into a bigger space this year! With so many people joining us last time, we wanted to create even more room for our community to gather, connect, and share - especially during the holidays, which can be a tough time for many of us. What better way to support each other than by coming together through creativity, joy, and q***r magic?
