KIOSK is a satellite space located in a former kiosk at the Frederiksberg hospital grounds. The kiosk building still has the furniture and outside appearance of its past life, but contemporary artists will install site-specific new works in the atmosphere-filled space – both inside and outside. KIOSK will host one exhibition every other month, opening in November 2022. The old New Shelter Plan was a contemporary, non-profit exhibition space situated in the old Carlsberg district in Copenhagen. The primary focus was new contemporary art by upcoming as well as established artists working in a wide range of media. The aim was to present exhibitions that we believe challenges the existing Danish art scene. In our 185m2 unusual exhibition space, we featured solo shows, group shows and collaborative exhibitions as well as shorter events – ‘Shorts’. The program from the beginning to May 2015 was based on open call applications and selected by the advisory board. New Shelter Plan distinguishes itself from other artist run exhibition spaces in Copenhagen by size and the constellation of an advisory board that curates the program. By the regular advisory board meetings and relatively short exhibition periods New Shelter Plan manifests itself as a vibrant, dynamic and engaging exhibition space able to maintain a flexibility and energy within the program. Dear friends of KIOSK,
We are delighted to invite you to join us for the Finissage on
Friday, December 15, from 16:00 to 19:00, as we celebrate the closing day of "Kiosks in Kiosk," the extraordinary solo exhibition by Randi&Katrine.

This Finissage also marks the conclusion of the first year of
KIOSK, featuring a successful exhibition and event program curated by the
founders of KIOSK Johan & Wendy. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for
your continued support as guests, followers, and friends.

As we bid farewell to 2023, we look forward to an exciting new
chapter in KIOSK in 2024. A new curator team will take the reins, promising fresh perspectives and inspiring exhibitions.

ORDinationer til folket fra Ordapoteket på Frederiksberg Hospital!

Ordapoteket er kunstprojekt, der blev påbegyndt i 2010, og som sidenhen har forgrenet sig i en lang række udstillinger, fx Sproghospitalet på Sorø Kunstmuseum, 2019, samt en række popup-apoteker i Paris, London og Berlin. Ordapoteket er siden udgivelsen blevet oversat til ti sprog og er lige så stille blevet fast inventar i grammatikundervisningen i det danske skolesystem.

I perioden 8.-11. november indtager Ordapoteket Kiosk, hvor kyndige Ordapotekere vil behandle sproglige infektioner, kurere akutte mundtlig febertilstande og bekæmpe verbal virus.

Det vil være muligt at booke tid til en konsultation hos Morten Søndergaard i åbningstiden. Ved de individuelle konsultationer diagnosticeres dine sproglige problemer. Konsultationen varer 15 minutter og munder ud i ordination af en ordklasse og måske et digt.
