Sometimes we don’t feel better after a session…
Sometimes we feel worse.

And that doesn’t mean something went wrong.

It often means something real started to move.

Your defenses were created to protect you—your dignity, your connection, your survival.
But when they begin to soften, what they were protecting can finally come closer.

That can feel like:
more emotion
more confusion
less control

Many people don’t even realize when their defenses take over—
because they live in the body, in automatic patterns.

✨ Model 3 Shock Trauma Training, Romania 🇷🇴 ✨

With deep gratitude and inspiration, we have just completed Model 3 of the Shock Trauma Training in Romania, guided by International Bodynamic teachers Mar Barroso and Hadi B. Marcher.

This module brought powerful learning and embodiment through:
• Resource-oriented work and somatic bodywork
• Working with the Safe Place as a foundation for stability
• Understanding the dynamics of Shock, Peak, and Shock Run
• Supporting the nervous system through the transition from shock activation into deep freeze states
• Exploring reflex systems and how the body responds when shock trauma occurs
• Deepening our capacity to work with PTSD in a grounded, embodied, and respectful way

In Bodynamic understanding, trauma is not only psychological it is deeply held in the body and nervous system, influencing reflexes, energy regulation, and our sense of dignity and connection . This training continues to build the skills needed to restore balance, resources, and presence in both therapists and clients.
