BALANCING 🌊
When the waves of Life suddenly take me to and fro in unexpected ways (like a toe fracture 6 weeks ago) I try to focus on surrendering and accepting whatever I am invited to and able to give, to do, or to be. These days, stillness and rest are constant necessary companions for healing, accompanied by even more gratitude for the work I continue to be able to do as a facilitator and space holder. Rather than focusing on what I miss, I try to explore, also on the yoga mat, what is possible, with curiosity (and sometimes mixed with palpable frustration and grief for what I long for). On the mat, I focus on exploring what IS right now.
Balance is certainly wobbly right now, but that is just right now. I will find my centre over and over, because I know that is what I am being called to do again and again in this body.
May our balance reemerge from the deepest, darkest wobbly bits.
And hey; just a loving reminder that even amid any kind of unwanted unsteadiness, we can still choose do a little joyful dance (like me at the end of this reel 😆)
