Ananda Marga Yoga & Meditation Retreat Center and Organic Farm & Bakery

Ananda Gaorii is a 10 hectare (25 acre) organic farm and meditation retreat located in village of Vig, in the proximity of city of Holbæk, about an hour from Copenhagen and a short bike ride to the beach. The facilities include yoga & meditation halls, kitchen, commercial organic bakery, dining hall, shower & toilet blocks and accommodation in rooms, dormitories and camping area for up to 200 people. The project is run by Ananda Marga, a spiritual and social service organization which teaches yoga and meditation and runs schools, orphanages, medical facilities, rural development projects, disaster relief and other projects around the world (see www.anandamarga.org & www.anandamarga.dk).

🌱 Story Farm 2025 – Prep Meeting Recap 🌿

🤝 Ananda Marga Foundation & Pequena Ilha Verde

Three days, two organisations, one beautiful venue… and a LOT of ideas sprouting! 🌸✨
It was a very productive meeting where we talked about the program and everything needed for a successful activity happening 11–19 September.

We opened with a warm welcome circle and set our intentions for this magical journey. From there, we:
☀️ Mapped out activities & training flow
☀️ Clarified goals, roles, and logistics (rooms, buses, even the sauna schedule!)
☀️ Planned for our participants, families, and partnerships
☀️ Designed creative workshops like “Creativity through Gardening” & “Nature or Singing”
☀️ Set up our Story Farm stations & community involvement guidelines
☀️ Assigned daily roles – from Karma Yoga coordination to participant well-being 🌞💧🌺
☀️ Checked off materials (yes, pastries made the list 🍰)

Between sessions, we enjoyed coffee breaks, sunny walks, gentle yoga, and plenty of laughs. 🌊🧘‍♀️💬

We wrapped it all up with a closing circle and celebration planning – ready to welcome everyone to the full Story Farm experience in September.

Here’s to seeds planted, ideas blooming, and a vibrant harvest ahead! 🌾💛

The focus of this exchange is to tackle "brain fog", a common issue among young people after the Covid-19 pandemic, affecting memory, focus, and attention. Through engaging activities, workshops, and cultural events, you will:
✅ Learn practical strategies to improve focus and mental clarity
✅ Develop healthy lifestyle habits to combat brain fog
✅ Meet and exchange ideas with young people from different cultures
✅ Enhance your European identity and break stereotypes through intercultural dialogue

After the success of the first edition, we will host again the Training Course "Story Farm", where you will be encouraged to adventure towards your own Story 🙂
A guided story adventure to understanding your own worth and the tremendous value of your core message.

〽️Equip participants with storytelling, social media, and content creation skills to engage and youth.
〽️Foster personal growth and empowerment through a Personal Hero’s Journey, enhancing and skills.
〽️Boost youth workers' , , and communication abilities through .
〽️Help youth workers understand and empathize with the challenges young people face, particularly from the .
〽️Use storytelling to promote change through campaigns on sensitive and issues.
〽️Support partner in defining and communicating their purpose to staff, youth, and stakeholders.

Spiritual Adventure Camp Recap 🛶🧭🕊️

From canoeing through calm waters to hiking forest trails and singing together under the stars, last month’s Spiritual Adventure Camp was all about reconnecting with nature, community, and the deep stillness within.

We laughed, we explored, we sang kiirtan by the fire, and we meditated under open skies. For some, it was a first time in silence. For others, it was a return to something sacred.

We’re grateful to each participant who showed up with courage and curiosity. And to nature itself, our greatest teacher.

✨ Tango Meditation Retreat – A First-Time Success! ✨

What a magical few days we shared at the very first ever Tango Meditation Retreat – and what a success it was! 🥰 For the first time, we brought together the soulful depth of meditation with the intimate connection of tango, and the result was something truly special.

Together, we created a space full of presence, connection, stillness, playfulness, and joy. From heartfelt tango embraces to peaceful meditations, spontaneous solstice celebrations by the bonfire, and shared moments over delicious meals – this retreat was an unforgettable journey. 🌿💃🧘‍♀️🔥

Set in the nurturing environment of Ananda Gaorii, surrounded by nature and warmth, every moment was infused with care, laughter, and deep presence.

We’d like to thank everyone who joined us for a special event at Byens Hus – Gamle Byrådssal in Roskilde, where Dada Krsnasevananda gave an insightful talk on "Depression and Spirituality." 🧘‍♂️💬

The old city council hall, with its beautiful and historic atmosphere, was the perfect space for an evening of deep sharing, reflection, and inspiration. ✨

Dada offered powerful tools and spiritual perspectives for understanding and overcoming depression—reminding us of the strength and light we all carry within. 🕊
