We are gifted with so many talented individuals. Creolite 1.0 opened last week and will be available to view in the gallery within Lacou until mid may. Thank you to all those who attended last week and patronized. Not to mention those who had us in their thoughts however, unable to make it. A special thanks to our generous sponsor Pirates Ltd. who provided the delicious wines during our opening last Tuesday. Also, the press who covered us EmoNews and Kairi FM. Creolité 1.0 Exhibition to open 30th April.

Creolité 1.0 is the Artists response to the concept of Antillean peoples as Creole, and the dynamic interplay and tensions between the literary terms and theses on Creolization and Hybridization of our collective identity.

The meaning of 'Sankofa' resonates, go back and bring forward what has been left/forgotten. What elements do we claim as our identity?
