It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Catherine “Ma McMillan” Jno Baptiste Née Paul, Aged 81, of Newtown, who resided at Goodwill.

She peacefully transitioned on January 15th, 2026.

She leaves to mourn her loss:

Her devoted husband: James “McMillan” Jno Baptiste.

Her beloved children: Marvlyn, Marcus, Roland, And Burton Jno Baptiste.

Her cherished grandchildren: Marcus, Marlycus, And Brielle Jno Baptiste.

Her brother: Martin Paul.

Her nieces and nephews: Kimmey, Natasha, Minora, Nervel, Carlin, Steven, Gina, Geraldine, Ted, Desmond, Ken and Naisha, along with many grandnieces and grandnephews too numerous to mention.

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Verdan Maria Peter, who was born on 1st July 1947 and passed away on 18th January 2026.

She leaves to mourn:

Her loving partner: Joe Charles

Her daughter: Connie Hector Peters

Her grandchildren: Nathan Mario Peters and Ishan Shillingford

Her great-grandchild: Kishaney Shillingford.

She is also mourned by her sister: Theresa Peter, also known as (Bolo)

Her brothers: John Peter and Martin Peter

Her nieces: Josephine, Dindin, Janet, Sharon, Nanet, and Princess

Her nephews: Fedel, Awab, Patrick, and Desmond, also known as (Boloboom).
