I honour the sacred and life-giving water that flows through us and all things.
This water is more ancient than the earth itself, and will never cease to be. The same drops of that once fell in an Indian Monsoon, another time flowed down the Amazon, then was sipped in a fine cup of tea in China. It floated in mists over the Orkney Isles, was distilled into tinctures by medicine makers, and crashed in thunderous waves against the shores of Hawaii. It moistened a tissue to wipe a child's face, dripped from cedar branches onto mossy forest floors, swirled in snowstorms on mountaintops of the Alps, and was mixed with pigments to paint masterpieces throughout the ages. It is the same water that flows from our eyes in a moment of pure emotion. Like the spark of our spirit, water is eternal, only changing shape and expression as it journeys through existence in a timeless dance.
