VAFMS / VA FOREIGN MEDICAL SERVICES
As we all continue to monitor the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, we wanted to reach out and share the actions VAFMS / VA FOREIGN MEDICAL SERVICES
is taking to keep our medical facility safe and clean for patients, and our employees.
We’ve always taken pride in the cleanliness of our medical facilities, and we know this is more important than ever right now. We have taken enhanced measures to serve you in the safest ways possible, and still keep our employees safe including:
- Regularly disinfecting high touch areas like door handles, keypads, front desk, chairs and other commonly used surfaces.
- Increasing accessibility of hand sanitizers for patients and employees.
- Increasing deep cleanings of our medical clinics.
- Ensuring our employees have the information they need to stay healthy or stay home if they feel unwell.
Like many others, we’re taking guidance from the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), which recommends regular cleaning as one of the most important measures we can take.
We will be working hard to keep our Medical Facilities open, and will notify you if for any reason we temporarily close our offices.
