They let her go in the the final days with her dad..

Not because she wasn’t good enough
Not because she didn’t care
But because “legally, they had to.”

And in that moment…something shifted for Christine.

Because the last thing she told her dad was,
“I’m going to be okay.”

So now…she doesn’t get the option not to be.

This isn’t about being strong.
It’s about keeping a promise to someone who can’t see you win anymore.

She sat at her mother’s deathbed and asked the one question we all want answered…

“Are you proud of me?”

Her mother said yes.
After she passed, they opened the will.
She had been written out completely.
Her children’s college funds …closed.
The money given to other grandchildren.
The last thing her mother gave her was a lie.

You don’t lose yourself all at once.

It happens quietly.

In the moments you stay silent
when something doesn’t feel right.

In the “yes” you give
when every part of you means no.

In the way you shrink…
just to keep someone else comfortable.

And one day you look in the mirror
and barely recognize the person staring back.

That version of you wasn’t weak.
She was surviving.

But you don’t have to stay there anymore.

You’re allowed to choose yourself.
Even if it changes everything.

🩵 Save this for the version of you you’re finding again
🩵 Send this to someone who feels lost right now

She survived abuse as a child… and chose to break the cycle. 💔

“I can’t change what happened, but I can rectify it. I wanted to give my kids what my parents couldn’t give me.”

This is what generational healing actually looks like. It’s not perfect. It’s not painless. But it’s chosen…every single day.

If you’re doing the hard work of breaking cycles your parents never even acknowledged existed…this one’s for you. 🌊

Some people talk about healing. Christine Ravesi-Weinstein has actually done it.
She holds a Bachelor’s in Biology from UMass Amherst and a Master’s in Teaching and Curriculum from Harvard University. She spent over 20 years in public education — science teacher, department chair, assistant principal — before walking away to build something on her own terms. Today she’s a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, a published author of three books, founder of TRH Personal Training and The Runner’s High Publishing, and a Sun Chronicle 20 Under 40 honoree. She’s also a mom of two who has navigated anxiety, depression, and a complete identity rebuild at 45.

In this episode, Christine goes there — childhood abuse, postpartum depression and anxiety, choosing to stay on Zoloft during pregnancy, writing a letter that changed her relationship with her father, leaving a career that looked great on paper, and why she’ll never measure someone’s progress by a number on a scale.

If you’ve been carrying something from your past — or you’re just tired of feeling stuck — this one’s worth your time.

she wrote her dad a letter…
telling him everything he never gave her.

she didn’t expect a response.

but months later…
he wrote back.

and in one paragraph,
he said everything she needed to hear.

that was the moment she forgave him.

what you’re carrying is heavy.
and you’re still carrying it.

that says everything.

you’re stronger than you think.

Numb doesn’t mean healed.
It just means you’ve stopped feeling.

And the scariest part?
At first… it feels better.

But you don’t just lose the pain.
You lose everything.

If this hit you… it’s time to change something.

Sometimes the hardest help to accept is the kind that comes from a courtroom. 🤝📜

We often see the legal system as a barrier, but it’s also a framework for safety. Whether it’s mandatory support, intervention, or guidance, these systems exist to ensure no one gets left behind—even when they think they can handle it alone.

Why is it so hard to see in ourselves what others see so clearly? No perfect words can give someone their worth. But sometimes… seeds get planted. And one day, they grow into clarity.

02/01/2026

Sometimes the hardest conversation is the one you have with yourself. Not about blame. Not about shame. Just honesty. Because no one wakes up hoping to feel small, unsafe, or worthless. If this hit a nerve, pause. Look inward. You’re allowed to choose differently. 🌊
