📌For both my rounds I sat religiously on my boppy for the first 2 months post op.
After that if I've to stay sitting for a long period of time like when I drive for 11 hours I sit on my boppy.
Now at 1 year, 5 months post op and 5 months post op from round 1&2 I still sit on my boppy if it's long periods of sitting. 📢📢📢📢 No amount of kneeling in cars, making holes in a lounge chair, laying in a pool float or beenie bag lounger etc WILL STOP your body from naturally absorbing that 30-40% of fat that was transferred to your BBL within the first 6 weeks.

Pre Op:
Prior to your arrival in the Dominican Republic or whatever country you're having elective plastic surgery in you will want to have some basic tests performed to ensure you're cleared for surgery.
If you've health issues like diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease etc you'll want to get more in depth tests done and ensure your vitals are at an appropriate level consistently for at least 30-60 days prior to surgery.
Some of the basic tests are:
CBC- Complete Blood Count to check your hemoglobin levels, white blood cell count etc.
Pulmonary tests for your lungs especially if you're a smoker or vaper.
EKG to check your heart function

Post op:
In the DR your medical records are all hand written the old school way. It's not nicely entered and printed out from a computer. These records of everything related to your surgery and health including what medications you were prescribed you should request a copy of before you depart back to your country. In case you get back home and a post op complication occurs you'll have your records to take to your doctor or emergency room.
The second documentation is your clearance letter from your doctor. Most doctors require you to stay 12 days post op before they release you from their care.
This letter is given to you at your last check up with your doctor which is usually the day before you depart. The airport authorities (SDQ) sometimes ask to see this letter as you're going through the check in process for your flight. It's better to have it than not because if they ask for it and you don't have it you'll not be allowed to continue with checking in for your flight until you get this letter whether it's a physical copy or emailed to you from your doctor's office. Imagine being at the airport and trying to get a hold of the office staff.

BLOOD CLOTS:
Pre Op you have to stop any supplements that may cause your blood to thin like Tumeric or Vitamin E 30 days prior to surgery as it may make you bleed excessively during your procedure.

Post op to prevent blood clots from forming you need to take blood thinners. Your surgeon will prescribe you a blood thinner like Heparin or Clexane 40mg that you'll take once daily for the first 6 days post op.

A holistic natural way of helping to prevent blood clots is to drink Tumeric and Ginger tea after surgery as these are both natural blood thinners.

Here's a video showing me making my Tumeric and Ginger tea that I drank daily for the first two weeks post op.
