🟤 What is Dystocia in Animals? (Difficult Birth)
Dystocia means hard or abnormal delivery. It happens when the baby is too big, the mother is weak, or the fetus is in the wrong position.
If an animal pushes for a long time with no progress, it can be dangerous for both mother and baby.
⚠️ Signs of Dystocia:
Straining for 30–45 minutes with no result
Only one leg or abnormal part visible
Weak pushing or tired mother
Bad smell from birth canal
🩺 What to Do?
Call a veterinarian immediately. Quick action saves lives. Sometimes correction, pulling, medicine, or even a C-section is needed.
