Kidney disease is any destructive process within the kidney. Kidney disease is not limited to any particular age or breed, but is one of the most common medical problems of older dogs and cats and is a leading cause of death of these pets.
Your pet’s kidneys filter and remove “ waste materials” from the blood stream. The kidneys also regulate the volume and composition of your pet’s body fluids.
Signs and recognition of decreased kidney function are not evident until more than two thirds of the total kidney function has been lost. The majority of adult dogs and cats have some kidney damage present. Once kidney damage is present ,regeneration of kidney tissue does not occur. Kidney damage is usually progressive. Any measure that helps prevent the disease, delays the age of occurrence and/or slows the progression of this disease, will help a pet live longer.
-Signs of kidney Disease
If kidney disease destroys the kidney’s ability to perform properly, waste materials accumulate in the blood. Signs associated with kidney disease are:
• Loss of appetite
• Increased thirst
• Frequent urination or no urination
• Depression and/or vomiting
These signs may appear suddenly or develop slowly over time, and they may be produced by other disease.
تقوم الكلى بالتخلص من الفضلات من الدم و كذلك تنظم حجم و نركيب السوائل في الجسم. أمراض الكلي تصيب الكلاب و القطط دون اي علاقة بعمر او سلالة, لكنها في الاعمار الكبيرة قد تؤدي الي النفوق. ظهور علمات و دلالات امراض الكلى لا تظهر الا بعد توقف ثلثي وظائف الكلى .
- أعراض أمراض الكلي
• فقدان الشهية
• زيادة العطش
• التبول المستمر\ لا تبول
• الوهن و القئ
هذه الاعراض قد تظهر فجأه أو تدريجيا

Rabies affects the dog’s nervous system,brain and spinal cord,where it destroys tissue and causes fatal inflammation. It can afflict any warm-blooded animals and humans. The virus is present in the saliva of infected animals, and is usually transmitted through bite wounds. Rabies can also be transmitted if the infected saliva contacts a fresh wound or lining of the mouth or nose.
Because rabies poses such grave danger to humans , any dog that is not protected by a current rabies vaccination and is exposedto a suspicious animal or bites a human, must be quarantined for six months under the direction of the local health-department.
مرض السعار هو مرض فيروسي يؤثر علي الجهاز العصبي للكلاب حيث يحطم الانسجة و يؤدي الي التهابات قاتلة. يصيب المرض الانسان و الحيوان. يكمن فيروس السعار في لعاب الحيوانات المصابة و ينتقل عن طريق الجروح الناتجة عن العقر. كما ينتقل ايضا عن طريق اختلاط اللعاب الملوث بالفيروس للجروح الحديثة او الانسجة المبطنة للفم و الانف.
نظرا لخطورة السعار الذي يسبب ضرر شديد للانسان, فان اي كلب لم يتم تحصينه بالمصل المضاد للسعار و الذي تعرض لحيوانات مصاية او عقر انسان يجب عزله فترة 6 اشهر تحت الرعاية و الملاحظة المباشرة.
