حققت مصر تقدمًا ملحوظًا في القضاء على التهاب الكبد:

✅ في عام ٢٠٢٣، أصبحت مصر أول دولة في العالم تحصل على "المسار الذهبي" في طريق القضاء على فيروس سي، وفقًا لمعايير منظمة الصحة العالمية.

✅ وفي عام ٢٠٢٤، تم الاعتراف بمصر كأول دولة في إقليم شرق المتوسط تحقق الهدف الإقليمي للسيطرة على فيروس بي.

📣 وبمناسبة اليوم العالمي للالتهاب الكبدي هذا العام، أطلقت وزارة الصحة والسكان — بدعم من منظمة الصحة العالمية — خطة استدامة القضاء على الالتهاب الكبدي الفيروسي، التي تتضمن التوصيات والأهداف الرئيسية لتسريع التقدم نحو القضاء الكامل على المرض.

Today, 28th of July, is World Day.

Egypt has made remarkable progress in hepatitis elimination.

✅ In 2023, Egypt became the first country globally to achieve Gold Tier status on the path to elimination of hepatitis C ,as per WHO criteria.

✅ In 2024, Egypt was recognized as the first country in the Eastern Mediterranean Region to fulfill the regional control target for hepatitis B.

📣 To mark this year’s World Hepatitis Day, the Ministry of Health and Population —supported by WHO —launched the National Viral Hepatitis Elimination Sustainability Plan that outlines key recommendations and objectives to accelerate progress towards full elimination.
