SDS Egypt at One Young World Summit 2025 – Munich 🔥🌍
This week, SDS Egypt made its mark on the global stage as our CEO, Hussein Oraby, spoke in the Plenary Session on Education at the One Young World Summit 2025 in Munich, Germany — the world’s most influential forum for young leaders, bringing together over 2,000 changemakers from more than 190 countries.
The session focused on one of the most urgent questions of our time: How can education become the true equalizer — not just in access, but in opportunity? Hussein represented Egypt and the Middle East by spotlighting the realities faced by persons with disabilities in education, technology, and employment — and how innovation can bridge those gaps.
Speaking to a hall of world leaders, CEOs, and youth delegates, Hussein shared his vision of inclusion not as charity, but as strategy. He challenged global institutions to rethink what accessibility truly means — not as a checkbox, but as a competitive advantage and a catalyst for human potential.
In his words after the session, Hussein commented:
“Standing on that stage in Munich, surrounded by leaders who are shaping the world’s future, I felt the power of possibility. Accessibility is not a favor — it’s the foundation of progress. Every person deserves a fair chance to learn, to work, and to lead. At SDS Egypt, we’re not waiting for inclusion to happen — we’re building it.”
Under Hussein’s leadership, SDS Egypt (Smart Disability Society) has become a regional pioneer in transforming disability inclusion through education, technology, and employment.
In just five years, we’ve:
🚀 Reached over 20,000 individuals across Egypt and the Arab region
💼 Trained 1,000+ persons with disabilities in future-ready careers
🌍 Helped 20 visually impaired professionals secure international employment in 2024 alone
And this is only the beginning. At , SDS Egypt opened conversations with global organizations, impact investors, and tech innovators — setting the stage for powerful collaborations that will reshape accessibility worldwide.
“We are excited to announce that new global partnerships inspired by this summit will soon be unveiled. Together, we’re moving from awareness to action — from inclusion as an idea, to inclusion as a global standard.” — Hussein Oraby
