تعرب جمعية مستشفى بروك مصر عن بالغ حزنها لوفاة زميلنا العزيز وعضو مجلس الإدارة، الدكتور مصطفى الدمر داش، الذي وافته المنية اليوم.

لقد كان الدكتور الدمر داش عضوًا مؤثرا في مجلس إدارة بروك مصر، وشخصًا يتحلى بالنزاهة والتفاني واللطف. وقد كان لالتزامه وجهوده في دعم رسالة بروك أثر بالغ التقدير، ولن يُنسى عطاؤه. لقد قدم وقته وخبرته بسخاء في خدمة رسالتنا.

يمثل رحيله خسارة كبيرة لبروك مصر ولعائلة بروك على مستوى العالم.

سيظل الدكتور مصطفى الدمر داش حاضرًا في ذاكرتنا بكل احترام وامتنان. ونتقدم بخالص التعازي والمواساة إلى أسرته وأصدقائه وكل من حظي بشرف العمل معه.

Brooke Egypt is deeply saddened to share the passing of our dear colleague and Board Member, Dr. Mustafa Eldemirdash, earlier today.

Dr. Eldemirdash was a valued member of the Brooke Egypt Board and a person of integrity, dedication, and kindness. His commitment and efforts in support of Brooke’s mission were deeply appreciated and will not be forgotten. He gave his time and wisdom generously in service of our mission.

This is a significant loss for Brooke Egypt and for the wider Brooke family.

He will be remembered with respect and gratitude. Our heartfelt condolences go to his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of working with him.

تدريب متخصص لتعزيز مهارات أطباء مستشفى بروك الخيرى لعلاج الحيوان - مصر
في إطار خطة التطوير المهني المستمر لمستشفى بروك للحيوان، عُقدت دورة تدريبية متخصصة لتعزيز مهارات وقدرات الأطباء البيطريين في المنظمة. أقيمت الدورة في المقر الرئيسي لمستشفى بروك بالقاهرة في الفترة من ١٩ إلى ٢٢ يناير ٢٠٢٦.

قدم التدريب كل من الدكتور محمد عبد العاطي، مدير بروك المنصورة (استشاري أول تناسليات الخيول)، والدكتور مصطفى محجوب، طبيب بيطري أول وعضو فريق التدريب الرئيسي بمستشفى بروك بالإسكندرية، وذلك بمشاركة ١١ من شباب طبيبات و أطباء بروك من فروعها السبعة المختلفة.

و شملت الدورة تدريباً نظرياً وعملياً على خطوات الفحص الإكلينيكي الشامل و إستخدام جهاز السونار في فحص الجهاز الهضمي و التناسلي و الحركي ، بالإضافة إلى أساليب العلاج والوقاية ، هذا التدريب التزام "بروك" بالتطوير المستمر لكوادرها البيطرية، مما يساهم في تحسين جودة الخدمات البيطرية المقدمة ورفع معايير الرفق بالحيوان.





A Specialized Training to Enhance the Skills of Brooke Hospital for Animals - Egypt, Veterinarians

As part of the Brooke Hospital for Animals’ continuous professional development plan, a specialized training course was conducted to enhance the skills and capacities of the organization’s veterinarians. The course took place at the main Brooke Hospital in Cairo from 19 to 22 January 2026.

The training was delivered by Dr. Mohamed Abdelati, Manager of Brooke Mansoura (Senior Consultant in Equine Reproduction), and Dr. Mostafa Mahgoub, Senior Veterinarian and senior training team member at Brooke Hospital in Alexandria, with the participation of 11 young female and male Brooke veterinarians from its seven different branches.

The course included both theoretical and practical training on the steps of comprehensive clinical examination and the use of ultrasound in examining the digestive, reproductive, and musculoskeletal systems, in addition to treatment and prevention approaches. This training reflects Brooke’s commitment to the continuous development of its veterinary staff, contributing to improved quality of veterinary services and enhanced standards of animal welfare.

انطلقت العيادة المتنقلة رقم 72 من مكتب بروك المنصورة نحو قرية أبشواي بمحافظة الغربية و التي تبعد بمسافة ٦٠ كم عن المنصورة و لكن رحلاتنا لا تقاس بالمسافات فقط بل بعدد الحيوانات العاملة التي نصل إليها .

كان هدفنا في هذه الجولة تقديم الرعاية الطبية الأساسية، والتواصل المباشر مع أصحاب الحيوانات لضمان بيئة عمل آمنة وصحية .

تضمن العمل الميداني في القرية ما يلي :

فحص 42 حالة من الخيول و الحمير العاملة للتأكد من سلامتها .

تقديم 46 إجراءً علاجياً تنوعت حسب احتياجات كل حالة لضمان استعادتها لعافيتها .

عقد جلسة توعية حضرها 7 من اصحاب الحيوانات ، ركزنا خلالها على ممارسات الرعاية اليومية التي تهدف إلى وقاية الحيوان من الإصابات المتكررة .

نؤمن في بروك أن الدعم الطبي الميداني ، جنباً إلى جنب مع نشر الوعي ، هو السبيل الأفضل لتحسين حياة الحيوان ومساندة الأسر التي تعتمد عليه .

Mobile Clinic No. 72 set out from the Brooke Mansoura office toward the village of Abshway in the Gharbia Governorate, located 60 km away from Mansoura. However, our journeys are measured not only by distances but by the number of working animals we reach .

Our goal during this round was to provide essential medical care and engage directly with animal owners to ensure a safe and healthy working environment .

The fieldwork in the village included :

Examining 42 cases of working horses and donkeys to ensure their well-being .

Providing 46 veterinary treatments, tailored to the needs of each case to ensure their recovery .

Conducting an awareness session attended by 7 animal owners, focusing on daily care practices aimed at protecting animals from recurring injuries .

At Brooke , we believe that field-based medical support , coupled with raising awareness, is the best way to improve the lives of animals and support the families who depend on them .

في قلب صعيد مصر، شدت أحد العيادات المتنقلة لعيادة بروك في إدفو رحالها إلى قرية "الكاجوج" التابعة لمركز كوم أمبو بمحافظة أسوان. جولةٌ جديدة انطلقت بهدف تقديم الرعاية الطبية ونشر ثقافة الرفق بالحيوان .

وقد أسفرت مجهودات الفريق خلال الجولة عن تحقيق النتائج التالية:

استقبال 115 حالة: تم فحصها وتقديم الرعاية الطبية اللازمة لها من خيول وحمير المنطقة.

تنفيذ 123 إجراءً علاجياً: شملت مختلف التدخلات البيطرية لضمان تحسن صحة الحيوانات المصابة.

توعية 35 شخصاً: من الكبار والأطفال، حيث ركزت الجلسات على أهمية العناية بالحيوان وتوفير بيئة عمل مناسبة له .

إن سعادتنا تكتمل برؤية الوعي ينمو لدى الكبار، والرحمة تترسخ في قلوب الصغار تجاه هذه الحيوانات.

شكراً لأهالي الكاجوج على تعاونهم وحسن استقبالهم، ومستمرون في الوصول لكل مكان يحتاج فيه الحيوان إلى يدٍ تمتد له بالشفاء.




In the heart of Upper Egypt, one of Brooke’s mobile clinics from Edfu set out on a journey to the village of "Kagog" in the Kom Ombo district, Aswan Governorate. A new tour was launched with the goal of providing medical care and spreading the culture of animal welfare.

The team's efforts during the tour resulted in achieving the following outcomes:

Receiving 115 cases: They were examined and provided with the necessary medical care for the horses and donkeys in the area.

Performing 123 therapeutic procedures: These included various veterinary interventions to ensure the health improvement of the treated animals.

Educating 35 people: Both adults and children, where the sessions focused on the importance of animal care and providing a suitable working environment.

Our happiness is fulfilled by seeing awareness grow among adults and mercy taking root in the hearts of children towards these animals.

Thank you to the people of Kagog for their cooperation and warm welcome. We remain committed to reaching every place where an animal needs a helping hand to heal.

وصلتنا رسالة طارئة عن حمار في حالة صحية صعبة، مُلقى على جانب الطريق أمام عمارة ٧ ب بمساكن المرور الجديدة (بالقرب من كوبري المرور عند جامعة الأزهر) بالمنصورة.

بعد التواصل مع مكتب بروك في المنصورة قامت بسرعة بإرسال عيادة متنقلة رقم 74 لمكان الحمار، وضمت العيادة المتنقلة:
د. محمد فتوح.
المساعد محمد عبد الغني.
السائق محمد عبد الحميد.

الإجراءات الطبية:
بعد الفحص، تبين إصابة الحمار بهبوط عام وبرودة ملحوظة في الأطراف. بدأ الفريق فوراً في تعليق المحاليل الوريدية وتقديم العلاج اللازم لرفع كفاءة الحالة، وساهم أحد الأهالي مشكوراً بتقديم "بطانية" لتدفئة الحمار.

النتيجة:
رغم أن صاحب الحمار "مجهول" حسب أفادة الجيران، إلا أن الفريق استمر في عمله حتى استعاد الحمار عافيته، ووقف على قدميه مرة أخرى وبدأ في شرب المياه و سيتولى أهالي المنطقة العناية به و رعايته و سيكونون على تواصل مع المستشفى لتقديم أي مساعدة.

كل الشكر لأهالي المنطقة على تعاونهم، ولفريق بروك بالمنصورة على تفانيهم في أداء دورهم الإنساني.

We received an emergency call regarding a donkey in critical condition , abandoned by the roadside in front of Building 7B , New Traffic Housing (near the Traffic Bridge by Al-Azhar University) in Mansoura .

After contacting Brooke Mansoura office , Mobile Clinic No. 74 was immediately dispatched to the site . The team included :

Dr. Mohamed Fatouh

Assistant Mohamed Abdel Ghani

Driver Mohamed Abdel Hamid

Medical Intervention : Upon examination , the donkey was suffering from general collapse and a noticeable drop in body temperature in the extremities . The team immediately began administering intravenous (IV) fluids and providing the necessary treatment to stabilize its condition . One of the local residents kindly provided a blanket to help warm the donkey during the process .

The Result : Although neighbors confirmed the owner is unknown , the team continued their efforts until the donkey regained its strength , stood up on its feet , and began drinking water , the local community will take care of it and stay in touch with the hospital for any needed help .

We extend our sincere thanks to the local community for their cooperation and to Brooke team in Mansoura for their dedication to this humanitarian mission .

قررت عيادة بروك بالمنصورة استقبال العام الجديد بمزيد من العمل والجهد الميداني ، مؤمنين بأن الرعاية والرفق هما أجمل بداية لكل عام . خلال يومين في منطقتي (البرامون) و (العامرية) ، نجح فريقنا في تقديم الدعم الطبي والتوعوي اللازم .

إليكم حصاد هذه الجولات الميدانية :

64 حيوان : خضع للفحص الطبي الشامل .

99 إجراءً علاجياً: قُدمت لضمان صحة الحيوانات .

جلستان توعويتان : ركزتا على تحسين جودة حياة الحيوان وتطوير ممارسات أصحابه .

13 حضوراً : من أصحاب الحيوانات الذين شاركونا نقاشاتنا التوعوية .

ولأن غرس قيم الرحمة يبدأ من الصغر ، اختتمنا مهمتنا بلقاء مميز وشيق في قرية (دميرة) ، حيث شاركنا 22 طفلاً جلسة توعوية تفاعلية حول أهمية الرفق بالحيوان ودوره في مجتمعنا .

Brooke Clinic in Mansoura decided to welcome the New Year with more field work and dedication , believing that care and compassion are the most beautiful start to every year . Over two days in villages of (Al-Baramoun) and (Al-Amereyah), our team successfully provided the necessary medical and educational support .

Here is the harvest of this field missions :

64 Animals: Underwent comprehensive medical examinations .

99 Treatments : Administered to ensure the health of the animals .

2 Awareness Sessions : Focused on improving animal welfare and developing owners' practices .

13 Attendants : From animal owners who participated in our educational discussions .

Because instilling the values of mercy starts at a young age , we concluded our mission with interesting meeting in the village of (Demirah) , where 22 children participated in an interactive awareness session about the importance of animal welfare and its role in our society .

مساعدة الحيوانات العاملة بقرية سلوى – بحرى

استمراراً لجهود جمعية مستشفى بروك الخيري لعلاج الحيوان في دعم الحيوانات العاملة وأصحابها، قام فريق العيادة المتنقلة بعيادة إدفو – كود 51، بقيادة د. ندا عادل، بزيارة ميدانية إلى قرية سلوى بحري (مركز كوم أمبو) لتقديم الخدمات البيطرية والتوعوية.

شملت الزيارة فحص 20 حيواناً وتنفيذ 24 إجراءً علاجياً لمختلف الحالات، إلى جانب عقد جلسة توعية حضرها 10 أطفال و5 من أصحاب الحيوانات حول أسس الرعاية اليومية السليمة.
مستمرون في دعم الحيوان والإنسان معاً.




Supporting Working Animals in North Selwa Village
As part of the ongoing efforts of the Brooke Hospital for Animals – Egypt to support working animals and their owners, the Edfu Mobile Clinic Team (Code 51), led by Dr. Nada Adel, conducted a field visit to North Selwa Village, Kom Ombo.
The visit included the examination of 20 animals and the provision of 24 veterinary treatments for various medical conditions, in addition to an awareness session attended by 10 children and 5 animal owners, focusing on proper daily care for working animals.
We remain committed to supporting both animals and the communities that depend on them.

من محافظة الدقهليه واصل فريق جمعية مستشفى بروك بالمنصورة مهامه من خلال العيادة المتنقلة ٧٢ (بقرية أبشواى) .

شهد اليوم نشاطاً مكثفاً للفريق ، حيث تم استقبال ٦٠ حالة من خيول و حمير القرية و تم تقديم ٦٢ إجراء علاجي تنوع ما بين فحوصات شاملة و علاج للجروح و تقديم الأدوية اللازمة لكل حالة لضمان استعادة صحتها .





From Dakhalia , the Brooke Hospital Mansoura team continued its mission at Abshway Village through Mobile Clinic No.72 .
The day include intensive activity , where 60 cases of the village's horses and donkeys were received and 62 medical procedures were provided . These procedures ranged from comprehensive examinations and wound treatment to providing the necessary medications for each case , ensuring their recovery and restoration of health

استكمالاً لجهود جمعية مستشفى بروك الخيري لحماية الخيول و الحمير المحجوزة في العيادة من تقلبات الطقس ، قام السروجي محمود محمد أحمد بعيادة إدفو بتجهيز و توفير البطاطين اللازمة للخيول و الحمير لضمان حمايتها من البرد و توفير الراحة و الدفء لها طوال فترة تلقي العلاج





As a continuation of the Brooke Hospital for Animal's efforts to protect the horses and donkeys admitted to the clinic from weather fluctuations , the saddler Mahmoud Mohammed at the Edfu Clinic has prepared the necessary blankets for the horses and donkeys . This ensures their protection from the cold and provides them with comfort and warmth throughout their treatment period .

Winter Preparations at Brooke Hospital for Animals

"In preparation for the winter season, the saddlery team at Brook Hospital for Animals – Egypt prepared and provided blankets for horses and donkeys admitted to the inpatient clinic, to protect them from the harsh winter cold, especially during the evenings. Owners were also educated on the importance of protecting their animals and maintaining their health and comfort."
