Ain Shams Neuromodulation Lab is proud to be part of Ain Shams University Stroke Center.

The Lab has expanded and added to its capabilities a gait lab to assess and tailor physiotherapy and rehabilitation services to patients with gait impairment, as an example, post-stroke hemiparesis, besides the transcranial magnetic stimulation for candidate patients as well. Such services are present within the Ain Shams University Stroke Center - Hany Aref Unit

A new achievement for ASU - Neuromodulation Lab .. the arrival of our new TMS machine and pairing it to the original navigated TMS and its different components ..

By this pairing beside having a double numbers of pulses that could cover up to 5 years atleast, it is also possible to do paired pulse research and dual stimulation and inhibition for plenty of organic brain lesions like aphasia, motor stroke, Parkinsonism and many more.

We are accepting patients with cortical visual field defects and MS patients of mild to moderate ataxia who can walk at least with unilateral support. Exclusion criteria include wheel chair bound, trunk titubation, deep sensory loss, less than grade 4 motor power and spasticity
