PharmaKAMpus Clinical Pharmacy

-The participants are about 100 pharmacists from MOH hospital pharmacists (Already selected)

- This workshop consists of 6 sessions- one session each 2 weeks

START DATE 9/5/2011 at 9 am

-Full day session from 8:30 am - 5 pm including coffee breaks and lunch break

- Each session will be divided into lectures given by practicing clinical pharmacists and an interactive part depends on clinical activities done by attending pharmacist

-Therefore the practical experience will be transfered in the two ways from lecturers to attendees and from attendees (from their work in hospitals)

- Lectures will include:
-Clinical pharmacy in U.S.
-Introduction to clinical pharmacy, pharmaceutical care and
patient profiling
-Patient counseling
-Drug interaction
-Drug information
-Medication errors
-Pharmacovigilance
-Clinical biochemistry
-Antiobiotic use
-Chronic diseases management
-Asthma
-Diabetes Millitus
-Common Cardiovascular Diseases
