✨From Egypt to Switzerland, sharing our sustainable development journey!
Mr. Helmy Abouleish, Chair of the Board of Trustees of Heliopolis University and CEO of SEKEM Group, will be representing our community in Switzerland this week in 3 consecutive events, highlighting the success story of greening the desert in rural areas and the sustainable development of surrounding communities.
👉🏼On October 29, he will take part in the “Greening the Desert” theme day at the Goetheanum in Dornach, highlighting how education, research, and community engagement can shape regenerative futures in deserts and dry regions.
👉🏼The following evening, October 30, he will give a public lecture in Basel titled “SEKEM: The Miracle in the Desert – A Holistic Path to Sustainability,” sharing insights from SEKEM’s long-standing journey toward holistic and sustainable development.
👉🏼On October 31, he will participate in the Soil to Soul Symposium in Zurich, speaking on “The Desert Comes Alive Again: With SEKEM.” The event connects soil, food, and human well-being, offering a space where sustainability, culture, and daily life come together.
