Meet Fareeda! 😊

Fareeda is a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, certified by the Somatic Experiencing Institute. She holds an Advanced Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Reach Out Egypt, a BACP-accepted program, and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in the Psychology of Mental Health and Wellbeing at the University of Wolverhampton, a BPS-accredited program. Her clinical training included internships at Kasr El Maadi Hospital and Al Mashfa Hospital, as well as supervised counselling sessions at Reach Out Egypt.

Fareeda’s work focuses on healing trauma and supporting nervous system regulation, which is the foundation of her approach with every client. She has supported individuals from varied backgrounds, including young adults, mothers, professionals, and expats, through life transitions, burnout, identity and cultural shifts, and the embodied effects of stress, trauma, and grief, including chronic illness and psychosomatic symptoms.

Fareeda sees the body as a storyteller whose narratives flow when the nervous system is regulated and fragment when it’s overwhelmed. While talking reveals the plot, true resolution lives in the body. Healing begins by reconnecting with what’s still alive and resilient within you, creating the safety needed for the body to complete what was left unfinished. As these stories find their ending, patterns soften, clarity returns, and a deeper sense of connection and inner steadiness emerges.

Fareeda brings an integrative approach to therapy, weaving together the body’s wisdom and the mind’s understanding to support a process that feels coherent and whole. Her work meets each client’s unique rhythm, capacity, and needs.

Meet Sherif! 😊

Sherif holds a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from the American University in Cairo (AUC). His clinical training included internships at AUC’s Psychological Counseling Services and Training Center, Serenity Psychology Center, and the DBT unit at Behman Hospital. At Behman, he also led psychoeducational workshops and gained extensive group therapy experience, including DBT skills training, experiential open groups, and groups on addictive behaviors.

He provides therapy in English and Arabic for individuals aged 21 and above, supporting clients with challenges such as stress, identity exploration, adjustment and interpersonal difficulties, career concerns, low motivation, self-esteem, grief, anger, addiction, trauma (developmental, relational, physical, sexual, spiritual, complex), as well as mood and personality disorders.

Sherif tailors his approach to each client’s unique experiences, fostering a non-judgmental space where individuals can navigate adversity, re-write their personal narratives, and pursue meaningful goals aligned with their values. Passionate about human resilience, he views therapy as a collaborative process grounded in trauma awareness, nervous system regulation, and meaning-centered exploration. His integrative work draws on Internal Family Systems (IFS), psychodynamic therapy, DBT, polyvagal theory, and motivational interviewing to help clients process their experiences and reconnect with what matters most to them.
