The first thing that every beginner fears is the bar or any kind of weight lifting in general, and are always confused about that matter; things you need to know:

1- you shouldn’t actually start lifting until you make sure that you can carry your own body weight, like what’s actually the benefit of carrying extra external weight if you can’t handle your own, enters calisthenics movements (body weight movements)
2- make sure you master technique, if you learned proper techniques there is nothing much to worry about, although we all have minor deficiencies in our techniques just make sure that they are minor and they won’t risk you or result in an injury
3- make sure you stretch properly after workouts as stretching is one of the most overlooked aspects of exercise, stretching enhances your flexibility and reduces muscle tension, improves your range of motion and increases muscular coordination.
4- it’s awesome and you should try it 😎✨
