- Laboratory personnel (qualifications, job descriptions, training and competence assessment)
- Equipment (acceptance, instructions for use, calibration, maintenance, repair, records and reporting of adverse incidents)
- Critical equipments
DAY Three – 22/11/2019 - Laboratory safety and infection control programs
- Laboratory information management system
- Point of care testing (POCT) programs
- Pre- examination procedures (information for patients, request form, sample collection manual)
- Work instructions and procedures manuals
- Examination procedures (selection, verification and validation of examination procedures)
DAY Four – 15/11/2019 - Measurement uncertainty
- Biological reference intervals
- Examination procedures quality control (types, materials, data and interpretation)
- Proficiency testing policies and procedures
- Interlaboratory comparison
- Post- examination procedures (review of results, retention and disposal of samples)
