Abeer’s reflection begins with a simple but powerful question: what is shaping the way we live our lives?
Beyond events and experiences, she pays attention to the underlying forces shaping our journey. What drives us? What pulls us forward? And what quietly infuences our choices?

Working with one’s life story in constellation is not about rewriting it. The shift happens elsewhere deeply within us, it is about how we meet what is already there. And about meeting it all with more awareness, steadiness, and clearer boundaries.

Her approach is grounded and precise: accompanying people as they step into the changes they are ready to make, in their own way.

For Abeer, one of the most meaningful aspects of her constellation journey was unexpectedly personal: meeting her own life story.

With each module, new pieces of understanding emerged. Subtle shifts, deeper clarity, and moments of sudden insight. Among many discoveries, one reflection became especially powerful.

Inspired by Bert Hellinger, Abeer encountered the idea: Suffering is easier than solving.

What is familiar can feel safer, even when it is painful. Stepping into the unknown, even toward something lighter, can feel far more unsettling. This recognition marked a turning point in how she understood change, resistance, and growth.

Part 1/4 Voices from the Field with Abeer Elsherbiny 🌀

Abeer’s professional path has always been rooted in school education, alongside family constellations facilitation and co-teaching. Like many who arrive to this work, her entry point was shaped by persistent questions: What is actually happening in my life? Why do certain experiences keep returning? Why do familiar patterns repeat - even when I consciously try to change them?

Initially, Abeer came searching for a single constellation that would “solve it all.” What unfolded instead was far more complex, and far more revealing. She encountered layers she hadn’t known she was carrying. Frustration surfaced first, but rather than closing the door, it became the threshold to a life-changing journey.

Abeer began this process to work on her own life, with no intention of becoming a facilitator. Yet that curiosity, along with the willingness to stay with what emerged, gradually opened the path that led her to become a Certified Facilitator of Constellation Work at BARAKA Institute.
