💥This is my second lecture in the series on *post transplant hematological considerations*, including anemia and thrombocytopenia.

It also covers transplant associated *thrombotic microangiopathy*, with a practical algorithm for managing immunosuppression in this setting.

I hope you find this session useful and clinically relevant.

🔬💧 How Your Body Controls Urine Concentration!

💥When plasma osmolality rises, the brain releases ADH ➜ kidneys pull more water back ➜ urine becomes concentrated (up to 1200 mOsm/kg).

💥When plasma osmolality falls, ADH is suppressed ➜ kidneys stop reabsorbing water ➜ urine becomes dilute (down to ~200 mOsm/kg).

🧠➡️🩸➡️🧽 The kidneys are true masters of fluid balance!

💥Hello dear colleagues
This is my the first lecture in my new series on *blood disorders following renal transplant*, beginning with post-transplant leukopenia.
The session includes a short quiz, then we explore the full spectrum of immunosuppression-related neutropenia—covering both induction and maintenance phases—and discuss the clinical approach to managing neutropenia in transplant patients.

We also review viral-induced neutropenia and how to overcome it, Duffy-associated neutropenia and its monitoring, and the different patterns of post-transplant neutropenia, including antiviral-induced cases.
The lecture concludes with guidance on when to refer to a hematologist.

Hope you find it helpful and informative.🌹

💥This is my new lecture, divided into two parts. The first focuses on clinical reasoning in nephrology through an atypical case of HTN emergencie in a young boy, recently published AJKD case, and the second covers practical tips and tricks for approaching the hypokalemia-hypertension algorithm.
I strongly encourage everyone to watch them—especially the second part—because it’s packed with insights that are rarely explained clearly in textbooks.
Also this algorithm is essential for anyone preparing for nephrology exams.
