For the past few months, We have all completely changed our lives. We have shut our home doors, shut down our businesses, taken out loans, and learned new ways to protect ourselves.
Every week, something new about the current virus is revealed and by now, its very clear that we will be cruising here for some time and if this is not going to go away, we have to learn how to live with it.
In my clinic, we are still undergoing emergency treatments only and I want to share what I am doing in my practice to protect my patients, my team, and myself.
I have been treating patients with analgesics and antibiotics for a period of time although I am against this protocol during normal times. Some important questions are being asked to any patients visiting the clinic along with measuring their temperature on arrival. Patients are being asked to come alone and only one patient is allowed at a time in the clinic with no overlapping. Personal protective clothing is worn by all doctors in the clinic and patients are also asked to sanitize hands and wear protective shoes on arrival.
I think its necessary that these precautions become the new norm in our lives. Stay safe and healthy everyone!
