In May, Victoria Hand Project travelled to Egypt to work closely with our clinical partners to fit four amputees in-need, including the resilient 14-year-old Yousef, with Victoria Hand prosthetic arms. However, on this trip, the team was struck by the harsh reality facing many in Egypt. During the trip, seven more patients showed up desperately seeking care, and the waiting list continued to rapidly grow.
To address this critical need, today we are launching our ‘Hand of Hope in Egypt’ campaign. Our Egyptian clinic urgently needs your support to provide these life-changing devices, fitting those on the waiting list and ensuring there is care for more.
