نقطة تحول في الصحة العالمية: مواجهة واقع الـ 300 مليون مريض، وهو واقع لم يعد بإمكاننا تجاهله. 🌍

العيش مع مرض نادر غالبًا ما يكون رحلة شاقة ومكلفة ومفعمة بالوحدة. بالنسبة للملايين، تبدأ هذه الرحلة بما يسمى "رحلة التشخيص" (Diagnostic Odyssey) — حيث يضطر المرضى للانتظار ما بين 4 إلى 8 سنوات في المتوسط لمجرد فهم المرض الذي يواجهونه.

التحديات التي نواجهها متجذرة:

🔹 95% من الأمراض النادرة لا تزال تفتقر إلى علاج معتمد.

🔹 العبء الاقتصادي كارثي، حيث وصل إلى ما يقرب من تريليون دولار في الولايات المتحدة وحدها في عام 2019 (عند احتساب التكاليف الطبية وغير المباشرة).

Our goal is to conduct high-priority and ethical basic, preclinical and clinical research, bridging the gap between science and community to improve health and quality of life.

Main Responsibilities:
-Supervise preparation, review, and finalization of study documents including Protocols, Clinical Study Reports (CSR), Statistical Analysis Plans (SAP), and Statistical Analysis Reports (SAR).
-Review and oversee data management activities to ensure data accuracy, consistency, integrity, and timely database lock.
-Perform and review pharmacokinetic (PK) and statistical calculations related to bioequivalence studies.
-Coordinate with biostatistics, bioanalytical, clinical, and regulatory teams to ensure timely, compliant, and high-quality study deliverables.

Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy.
-Minimum 5 years of experience in medical writing, data management, or biostatistics.
-Strong knowledge of bioequivalence requirements, PK analysis, statistical methods, and regulatory guidelines (ICH-GCP, FDA, EMA).
-Strong attention to detail, leadership skills, and ability to review technical and statistical documents accurately

تضمن اللقاء مناقشة شاملة حول أوجه التعاون القائمة مع الجهات العراقية المختلفة، بالإضافة إلى جولة تعريفية داخل مرافق المركز. وقد اطّلع ضيوفنا على أحدث الأجهزة في معامل التكافؤ الحيوي والجينات ، وأعربوا عن تقديرهم الكبير للتجهيزات المتقدمة والمعايير الفنية العالية.

و في نهاية الزيارة أعربوا عن شكرهم و نحن نثمّن هذه الزيارة الكريمة، ونتطلع إلى تعزيز سبل التعاون المستقبلي وتوسيع شراكتنا العلمية في السوق العراقي.

-Perform bioanalytical method development, validation, and in-vivo sample analysis using LC–MS/MS in compliance with SOPs, GLP, and regulatory guidelines.
-Ensure proper equipment calibration, maintenance, and documentation in accordance with GLP.
-Prepare and process samples and reagents while ensuring data accuracy, traceability, and integrity per ALCOA+ principles.

Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in science or pharmacy
-1–3 years of experience in a bioanalytical laboratory.
-At least one year of hands-on experience with LC–MS/MS and bioanalytical method development and validation
-Ability to perform routine bioanalytical analysis.

-Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
-Oracle system experience is a plus.
-Good command of English (written and spoken).
-Based in Cairo, Giza, or 6th of October City is preferred.

Successful Veterinary Bioequivalence Study for Carprofen Submitted to SFDA

This study was conducted in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and submitted to the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), reflecting our growing experience in delivering regulatory-compliant bioequivalence studies for animal health products.

Bridging Academia and Industry: MARC at Nile University’s 7th Bioinformatics Workshop

With MARC’s fundamental mission of bridging academia and industry, and with its commitment to supporting researchers in addition to conducting intramural and collaborative research, MARC was present at the Nile University’s 7th Bioinformatics workshop under two hats. Scientifically, MARC participated in the panel discussion through the contribution of Prof. Ramy K. Aziz, Head of MARC Bioscience Research Laboratories; additionally, MARC sponsored the poster session through two monetary awards for the best poster, provided to students of Nile University for developing an RNA sequencing analysis pipeline, and the second award to students of Zewail City of Science and Technology for developing an explainable AI framework that identifies antimicrobial peptides and accurately estimates their concentrations for understanding of AMP–microbe interactions.

Many thanks to Dr. Mohamed Mysara for inviting us and allowing us to support junior bioinformaticians from all Egyptian institutions and to Dr. Mohamed El Hadidi, Ph.D. former consultant to MARC, for coordinating the process.

MARC actively participated in clinical trial workshops across Riyadh and Al-Qasim cities.

MARC contributed to Clinical trial project and operation management workshop at AdDiriyah Hospital in collaboration with the تجمع الرياض الصحي الثالث | Riyadh Third Health Cluster on December 30th and January 1st.

Today, MARC is engaged with the second wave the Qassim Health Cluster | تجمع القصيم الصحي for a two-day workshop, with attendees from the Cluster and AL-Qasim University.

At MARC, we remain committed to fostering strong collaborations with key partners to advance and support clinical research across the region.
